Privacy

Last updated: 2026-09-02

You hand us a description of your client project — no account, no email required. Here is exactly what we do with it — and what we never do.

What we collect

  • Your email address — optional: only if you ask us to email your kit link, or confirmed at checkout by our payment processor (Waffo, acting as merchant of record). Generating a kit requires no email and no account.
  • Your project description — the text you paste or dictate (project background plus any details you add on the guided form) and any post-meeting notes you add for a regeneration.
  • A hashed network identifier — a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to enforce the 3-free-kits-per-day limit. We store the hash, never the raw address.
  • Anonymous usage counters — button clicks and funnel events (no form contents), used to understand whether the product is working.

How your material is handled

  • Used solely to generate your kit. Nothing else.
  • SayKit does not use your material to train models, and does not publish it as a sample without your written permission. (What our providers do is governed by their own API terms — see below; we list each of them.)
  • Stored so your kit page keeps working — kits are kept until you ask us to delete them: email support@saykit.ai and we remove your submissions and any derived content within 30 days.
  • Never paste client secrets, personal data, or material you are not authorized to share — the form warns you at input time, and paraphrasing works just as well.

Third parties — who receives what

  • AI model providers (the large-model APIs that generate the text — currently Volcano Engine Ark, with Google Gemini as a fallback) — receive your project description, transiently, to generate the kit, under their standard API terms.
  • Your browser’s speech service — if you use the dictate button, the audio is processed by your browser vendor’s dictation service (e.g. Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari). It never touches our servers; only the resulting text is sent to us when you submit.
  • Vercel / Neon — hosting and database; your brief and generated kit are stored here so your link keeps working.
  • Waffo — payment processing (merchant of record). Card details never touch our servers.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

What we never do

  • Sell or share your data with advertisers.
  • Run advertising or cross-site trackers. No cookies beyond what checkout requires.
  • Publish your material, anonymized or not, without written permission.
